Kremlins Favorite Candidate Jill Stein Refuses To Call Putin A War Criminal During Interview

Kremlin's favorite candidate Jill Stein refuses to call Putin a war criminal during interview

Putin's favorite candidate

Jill Stein, the former Green Party presidential candidate endorsed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, refused to call Putin a war criminal during an interview with The Washington Post.

When asked if she believed Putin was a war criminal, Stein said, "I don't think that's a helpful way to frame the issue." She went on to say that she believes Putin is "a very complex figure" and that "we need to understand his perspective."

Stein's refusal to condemn Putin's actions has drawn criticism from some quarters. The Democratic National Committee called her comments "outrageous" and said they "show that she is more interested in appeasing Putin than standing up for American values."

Stein's supporters, however, defended her comments, saying that she is simply trying to be diplomatic. They argue that calling Putin a war criminal would only serve to escalate tensions between the US and Russia.

Kremlin ties

Stein has a history of close ties to the Kremlin. In 2015, she met with Putin in Moscow and praised him as a "strong leader." She also attended a 2016 campaign event with Russian officials who have been accused of interfering in the US election.

Stein's ties to the Kremlin have led some to question her loyalty to the United States. However, Stein has denied that she is a Russian agent and has said that she is simply trying to build bridges between the US and Russia.
