Celtics Add Depth to Roster with Young, Versatile Prospect
The Boston Celtics entered the 2023 NBA Draft with just one draft pick, the 38th overall selection. Originally, the Celtics had the No. 53 overall pick as well, but they traded it to the Indiana Pacers in 2022 as part of the Malcolm Brogdon deal.
With their lone pick, the Celtics selected Arkansas wing Jordan Walsh. Walsh is a 6'7" forward who averaged 12.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game in his sophomore season with the Razorbacks.
Walsh is a versatile player who can play both forward positions. He is a good shooter, rebounder, and defender. He is also a good athlete who can run the floor and finish at the rim.
