Mbappe's Brace Powers PSG to 10-Point Lead

Lyon v Paris: Match Report

Pochettino's Side Extends Dominance

Kylian Mbappe was once again the star of the show as Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3-0 victory over Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday. The French forward scored twice in the first half, taking his tally for the season to 15 goals. Neymar added a third in the second half to seal the win for the runaway leaders.

PSG's victory extends their lead at the top of the table to 10 points. Pochettino's side has now won two of their last five league games, a run that includes a 2-1 defeat to Olympique Marseille. Lyon, meanwhile, remains in eighth place, 15 points behind their rivals.

Mbappe opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a clinical finish from inside the area. The French international doubled his tally just 10 minutes later with a powerful header from a Neymar cross. Lyon showed little attacking threat in the first half and went into the break two goals down.

PSG continued to dominate in the second half, and Neymar made the game safe in the 65th minute with a simple tap-in from close range. The Brazilian forward has now scored 10 goals in his last 10 Ligue 1 games.

PSG's victory will be a welcome boost for Pochettino, who has come under pressure in recent weeks. The Argentine coach will be hoping that his side can continue their good form in the coming weeks and secure the Ligue 1 title.
